Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya

This is the best love subject ever made.

Plot

Jessie, a software developer in Polaris, is a daughter of Malayalee Christian couple. Karthick, an Engineering graduate, is looking for a place as a film maker and a son of Tamil Hindu couple. Karthick’s family is a tenant of Jessie’s family. From his first sight, Karthick loves Jessie and follows her at every place.

  • Proposed his love at the middle of the street
  • Apologies for the same at Kerala
  • Kissed her in the train
  • Fought her for Friendship and Love
  • Attended her marriage at Kerala but she stopped it.
  • She proposed her love that night
  • Roaming Chennai
  • Got assistant director chance with K.S. Ravi Kumar.
  • Fought each other with no cause.
  • After 2 years, realised his love and planned to make a film with his own love story.
  • Met Jessie in U.S. during his film shoot.

Excellent Scenes:

  • Intro scene of Jessie in sari.
  • Proposing his love.
  • Beating Jessie’s brother in boxing style.
  • Caught by Jessie’s brother in her marriage
  • Missing her & her calls in Goa
  • Climax (I won’t reveal)

Songs are excellent and positioned at right scenes. “Anbil Avan” is at the climax.

Though Goutham showed chemistry between hero and heroine in his previous action projects, he did a wonderful job in VTV as love subject director.

Silambarasan has to follow the same acting in his future ventures.

No words about Trisha’s beauty. Hats off and must watch.

My rating is 4.5. It lost 0.5 because of the slow in the second half.

Congratulations to everyone.

Dev D(A)

A represents not only certificate given by central government but also my rating for this movie. It’s a very good entertainer for everyone.
Dev, son of a rich Punjabi businessman, fell in love with Paru and failed by believing rumours. Then, he moved to Delhi. There, he was starting his life (ending his life) by addicting to drink, drugs and sex.
Chanda was a school girl fooled by a guy, who captured her video in his mobile and spread through MMS. After her father’s death, she sent to his native place by her mother but she fled to Delhi for new life. There, she finished her schooling as well as joined a college with help of a job [as a sex worker].

Dev met Chanda and falling in love and the story started with 2 base stories after interval. Lot of scenes should be avoided to make audience in C & old people. Songs are too good. You can call me to hear one of those songs.

My rating is 3.5

Vinay as a hero, re-entered into Tamil industry with the new director Kannan. After his father’s dead, the hero, returned from London, is planning to become an entrepreneur in India. When he came to know about his father’s second family and his father put up Vinay’s money in a house at Madurai, his future planning and happiness was broke down into pieces. He found his step-sister standing as an obstacle with the help of villain to sell the house. At one point, the quarrel between hero and villain ended up with the life of villain’s wife. There the story starts. The second half shows Vinay’s stunts, affection towards his sister, Lekha Washington, and love towards Bhavana.

I went to the film without any expectation but this film sounds good and shows apt level of sentiments and love. You will enjoy. The song “Sutrivarum Bhoomi” was good.

The Pursuit of Happyness

The Pursuit of Happyness Poster

I think most of us have heard this film. This film starred by Will Smith as Chris Gardner and his own son Jaden Smith as Christopher and his wife Linda. I don’t know who was acted as Linda. Last weekend, I watched in HBO. The story baseline is how a salesman became a share broker. He faces lot of problems with his son including homeless nights, debts, etc.

The title is intentionally misspelled. I think Chris is trying to pursue happy in my life but the happiness in his life is not reaching 100%. Don’t miss this film, if you get any chance to watch. Father and the son acted well.

I could remember the joke that the small boy said his father. The joke is about a person who fell into the water. At that time,

1st Boat: Do you need any help?
Person: No. God will save me.

2nd Boat: Do you need any help?
Person: No. God will save me.

He died and went to heaven and asked God, “Why you didn’t save me?” God replied, “I send you two boats dammit (damn it)”.
