Life @ Melbourne

28 11 2009

As in everyone’s dream, “I want to build a new house”, “I want to spent time with my parents during holidays”, “I want to marry my dream girl/boy”, “I want to buy Porsche Sports car”, “I want to do my higher studies” and lot more. Everyone has his/her own but some succeed and some fail. Yes, I’m also an ordinary guy to go with the same. In short, my dream is “I want to be happy and I want others to be happy”. It’s everything but difficult for a human. What about CAT? Skip this question. Now, I’m in Melbourne, the capital city for culture and sports of Australia. I’ve to choose this before going for higher studies. This would help me financially. Now, watch my life in the trailing words.

Black Side: Undetermined 12 hours of a day, at least, should be dedicated to my work. It’s not compulsory but to outshine [Show off due to expectations :) ]. Beyond that, you may receive call at any time from any one for urgency. Due to this restless life, I’m realizing high BP. Have I taken care of my food? No. Being a vegetarian, I’ve to prepare my own food and late-time dinner. Hello readers please don’t tell this to my parents. The necessity of money in this materialistic world made this. [After all I’m also a dreaming man].

White Side: It’s very nice to meet open-minded, easy going people. Well established, highly connected and clean city is Melbourne. Yarra Trams is running through the streets, 8’o clock sun sets, unpredictable weather, night pubs in both sides of streets, the MCG, Victoria Harbour, beach side walk, multi-lingual people etc are its best parts. I’ve learnt lot in my life here after Kolkata. It’s really a good place free from pollution and population.

I don’t know why I’m not able to write that I want to write.

Mom and dad, I love you. With smile in my face and tears in my heart, I’m looking for the day on which I can meet you.

My past one year

2 08 2008

Here, my past 1 year history in few lines.

1. My first day @ TCS, Trivandrum – . It is located at Techno Park (Harmony at work). Myself and my friend Sriram were sitting together with my college mates. I missed my classmates over there. We are seated in an auditorium at People Park. Everyone was in formals.
2. My ILP days – Those days made lot of changes in my life. I met lot of students. I could say lot of associates from all over India. We had tests, lab exercises, brain bench tests, team work skills, soft skills and lot more. Also got trained in Mainframe as well.
3. Allocation @ Kolkata – I’d been allocated to Kolkata. Yes, this is my second level of satisfaction. Since, I opted for Chennai, Bangalore and Cochin. But, I got my college friends over here also.
4. Durga Pooja – The day, we landed @ Kolkata, was Durga Pooja (20th Oct 2007). The streets were brightened with lights and Panthals. Panthals are the temporary spectator area, you could see Goddess inside. People were roaming around streets and entering into Panthals all over their way. It proved “City of Joy”. But I didn’t forget it is “City of sweets”. Hence, the next day, I went to sweet shop to have Kolkata famous “Rasagola”. It was awesome to have sweets in “Mudga”. Mudga is a small pot made up of clay.
5. Days @ Kolkata – We were searching for South Indian hotel; trying to speak in Bengali, exploring new areas and lot more. Of course, my project. I should not miss it since this is being act as a very important one in my life. I love to work with people having highly experienced.
6. CAT 2007 – I scored 92.14 percentile. That’s it.
7. Dasavatharam – The most awaited movie of Padmashree Kamalahasan. He acted in 10 different roles. This was our first Tamil movie in Kolkata. It was the first show of the first day. We rocked Kolkata INOX.

Lot more happened in my life. I’ll add up those in my upcoming logs
